The Bugs in the Garden 2009 flyer has been posted to the main page.  The main event is July 11, 2009 with the Outback Kombi Kampout is scheduled for Friday July 10, 2009.  Check out the flyer for more details.

Many thanks to all the club members who send in photographs of the 2008 Bugs in the Garden.  Another 60 photographs have been added to the photographs page.  Congratulations on a very successful event. Plans are already underway for the 2009 BiTG.  Watch for announcements and attend the monthly meetings, I’m sure the committee is looking for helpers!

Photographs from the 2008 Bugs in the Garden have been posted.  We are still looking for more photographs.  If you have any please send them to the webmaster@vwawny.org so we can include them in the photo gallery.

The December meeting/ Christmas party is not going to take place this December.  It will be replaced by a springtime party in 2009.

The Cruise will begin at Demetri’s On The Lake Restaurant. Take I-90 to the Dunkirk exit (exit 59) turn right on Route 60 North to Demetri’s On The Lake Restaurant for a leisurely breakfast (optional). The address of the restaurant is 6-8 Lakeshore Drive.
 
We will plan to depart no later than 9:30 AM. Traveling over Route 5 thru Brockton, NY to Lundsmans Overlook Park. We will then head thru Point Chautauqua via Hartfield NY, then on to the new scenic overlook outside Bemis Point on I-86. The cruise will then head to the Lucy-Desi Museum in Jamestown with inside parking at the city ramp nearby. On completion of the tour, visiting the Ball gravesite at the nearby Lakeview Cemetery. Departing the cemetery and returning to I-90 via Route 60 North to Fredonia. An admission fee at the Museum is required.
